Blackfoot River at Bonner

Daily River Report

August 19, 2014

A bit of a cool off the last couple nights, which makes for lower water temps.  It's still a hopper/attractor thing right now.  A Hopper with a dropper in all day will get you into fish all day long at this point.  Get your dropper down about 2 1/2 to 3 feet off the back of your hopper.  There are some mid river fish so don't forget about those troughs and depressions mid-river.  Attractor flies like Stimi's, Adams, Humpies, Royal Wulff's and Purple Haze's are catching fish as well.

We have the new Winston BIII-SX in stock!  It's a great fast action rod that is the perfect rod for the Blackfoot!
