Clark Fork River at Turah Bridge

Daily River Report

March 27, 2015

Definitely worth a try as it has dropped all week and began to clear.  Sub-surface will be your best option, but we've seen a few Skwala's, BWO's and Neumora's.  There are a few rising fish in the back eddies and slow foam lines.  Nymphing with Double Bead Stones, Rubber Legs, San Jauns, Princes and 20 Inchers.  When the clouds come out streamer fishing is a great way to get the big guys.  Stick with flashy streamers like Kreelex, Silvey's Sculpin, Sparkle Minnows and Skiddish Smolts.

Clinton to Turah has a lot of log jams and sweepers.  Make sure you stay attentive and be CAREFUL!

The shop is stocked with all the flies you'll need for the Upper Clark!  Come by the shop and see us...
