Clark Fork River at Turah Bridge

Daily River Report

March 02, 2015

The water is coming back into shape and getting better clarity everyday.  Now we just need the night time temps to come up above 30 and we should be golden.  Right now there is slush in the mornings coming down the river.  In the late afternoon you can get out and catch fish under an indicator in the slow seams and inside bends.  Make sure you work the water well as the fish aren't moving far for flies.  San Jauns, Eggs, Rubberlegs, Double Bead Stones, Princes and PTs are your best options in the cold water.

Clinton to Turah has a lot of log jams and sweepers.  Make sure you stay attentive and be CAREFUL!

The shop is stocked with all the flies you'll need for the Upper Clark!  Come by the shop and see us...
