Clark Fork River at Turah Bridge

Daily River Report

October 28, 2014

Not much in the form of dry fly fishing, besided a couple hours in the afternoon with BWO's.  It's mainly been a streamer or nymph game, especially with the water coming up with the rain the last week or so.  Sparkle Minnows, Dungeons, Beldar Rubberlegs, Zonkers and Sculpzilla's have been getting attacked aggresively.  Nymphing is another option.  Princes, PT's, Rubberlegs, Double Bead Stones, Eggs and San Jauns.  Dead drifitng  a zonker or bugger is another good way to get keep your rod bent.

Clinton to Turah has a lot of log jams and sweepers.  Make sure you stay attentive and be CAREFUL!
