Clark Fork River at Turah Bridge

Daily River Report

June 25, 2015

The Upper Clark has been hit or miss depending on the day.  One day is outstanding and the next is really tough.  There are plenty of bugs so not sure why it's on and off.  Golden's, Sallies and PMD's are the main hatches.  Your typical Golden/Tan Chubby with a dropper like any dark Mayfly nymph or Tungsten Yellow Sally is a good way to start out the day.  Once you start seeing PMD's cut off your dropper and put on a Cripple or Comparadun off the back of your Golden or just fish it alone.

Clinton to Turah has a lot of log jams and sweepers.  Make sure you stay attentive and be CAREFUL!

The shop is stocked with all the flies you'll need for the Upper Clark!  Come by the shop and see us...
