Clark Fork River at Turah Bridge

Daily River Report

September 16, 2014

Hopper/Dropper fishing is still king up here, but we are seeing more and more mayfly type fishing as we head into fall.  A few BWO's, Mahogany's and Trico's are flying around in the right spots.  Hoppers like Yeti Hoppers, Chubby's and Noble Chernobyl's with stonefly or San Jaun droppers in the afternoons.  Streamer fishing is good on any cloudy day we get.  Rotate colors and mess with retrieves until you find what they like.

Clinton to Turah has a lot of log jams and sweepers.  Make sure you stay attentive and be CAREFUL!

The shop is stocked with all the flies you'll need for the Upper Clark!  Come by the shop and see us...
