Clark Fork River at Turah Bridge

Daily River Report

May 28, 2015

The Upper Clarkfork's flow seems to be staying level for the moment.  It's big and dirty, with chunks off moss still floating down, but it's fishable.  Nymphing in the slow seams and inside bends with Double Bead Stones, Rubberlegs, Princes and San Jauns is the way to go right now.  Streamer fishing is good as long as the clouds are out.  Yellow Yummies, Beldar Rubberlegs, Bighole Crawlers, Circus Peanuts and Dungeons slow twitched against the slower banks and in the same places you'd throw your nymphs.

Clinton to Turah has a lot of log jams and sweepers.  Make sure you stay attentive and be CAREFUL!

The shop is stocked with all the flies you'll need for the Upper Clark!  Come by the shop and see us...
