Clark Fork River at Turah Bridge

Daily River Report

October 13, 2014

Mahogonies and BWO's are coming off in the afternoons, especially on the cloudy days.  A sz. 14-16 P-Haze, Extended Body Mahogany, Copper Cripple or Brindl Chute is getting it done on the risers.  Streamer fishing has picked up and Olive/Gold or White/Gold has been our go to colors, although switch things up when you aren't getting eats.  Nymphing is an option as well.  Princes, PT's, San Jauns, Eggs, Red Copper John's and Reckoners under an indicator.

Clinton to Turah has a lot of log jams and sweepers.  Make sure you stay attentive and be CAREFUL!

The shop is stocked with all the flies you'll need for the Upper Clark!  Come by the shop and see us...
