Clark Fork River at Turah Bridge

Daily River Report

November 04, 2014

Streamer time is still going up here, but the jumps in flows have messed with the fish.  It's on the drop now and with the clouds sticking around this week the streamer fishing will get even better.  Browns are starting to spawn, so please be careful when wading.  Also leave them alone when they are on their spawing reds, they are our future fishery.  Nymphing is another option with PT's, Princes, Lightning Bugs, Rubberlegs and San Jauns.  A few BWO's are out so a CDC Dun, Comparadun or P-Haze in a sz 18-20 will do the job.

Clinton to Turah has a lot of log jams and sweepers.  Make sure you stay attentive and be CAREFUL!

The shop is stocked with all the flies you'll need for the Upper Clark!  Come by the shop and see us...
